Now Tramigo M1 Mobile Phone Tool beta for almost any mobile phone

Your Tramigo T22 unit is now easier to locate with the help of the M1 Java tool. There is no need to remember the T22 commands; M1 Java provides menus commands, so you can instantly find the current location of your vehicle or change the reporting settings. This is an excellent tool for all frequent T22 users - for example a multi-vehicle family or a small company.

"The new M1 Java Tool makes Tramigo T22 usage very simple especially in multi-vehicle family use or fleet management; you can manage your vehicles or check the location or your family members instantly. It's the perfect tool for a fleet owner or locating your family members! As always you can also track your T22 with any phone by sending normal SMS using the simple commands" comments Asmo Soinio, Tramigo's Senior Software Engineer.

CES 2008 - Hitatchi 1.5" HDTV

Hitachi is well known for unveiling breathtaking consumer electronic products. Keeping with the latest trend that has captured the minds of people i.e. Ultra Slim TVs, Hitachi rolled out its latest line up of 1.5-inch (35mm) Ultra Thin HDTV’s. The company expects that it is the first to launch Ultra Thin series. The latest line-up is scheduled to hit stores in Japan market in December 2007.

These displays are available in three sizes (32”, 37” and 42”). The Ultra Thin HDTVs are designed keeping discreet, modern, flexible consumers in mind. The 32” panel features a resolution of 1366×768 and will be available in Q1 2008, 37” sports 1920×1080 resolution and is expected to reach the markets in Q2 2008 whereas the largest 42” offers amazing image reproduction at 1920×1080 and will be available in Q2 2008.

The displays feature an external electrode fluorescent lamp (EEFL) for enhanced power efficiency, more accuracy and longer life. A wide viewing angle 178 degrees ensures ideal viewing. The glossy panel is a great piece of art and will adore the décor of your room.

For cinema like quality of images, Ultra Thin HDTV’s feature Hitachi’s Proprietary “Anti-Judder” Technology and “3:2 pull-down correction”. The Picture Master Full HD processes images at a high speed. The audio quality is also outstanding.

CES 2008 - Panasonic 150" Plasma Display Advanced HD

Panasonic demonstrated a gigantic 150-inch HDTV, a less-than-an-inch 50-inch Plasma TV as well as a new portable DVR to debut in 2009.

Panasonic today introduced its new flagship PZ850 series, one of the first IP enabled televisions available. The PZ850 series includes 46-, 50-, 58- and 65-inch models, which all provide access to online content with VIERA CAST technology. In addition, the PZ850 series features a Pro Setting Menu, allowing the consumer to access professional calibration software; an improved native resolution contrast ratio of 30,000:1 and a dynamic ratio of 1,000,000:1; Digital Cinema Color Re-Mastering and 24p native reproduction. The HDTVs will also feature an SD memory card slot, four HDMI connections and a PC input. Recognizing the growing use of Plasma HD televisions in the gaming world, Panasonic also created the Game Mode, which minimizes the time lag when displaying game images on the Plasma screen. The mode synchronizes the response of the game image to the player's operation, thereby producing a clearer image with less motion artifacts. Panasonic also showed a prototype of a less-than-one-inch thin 50-inch Plasma TV. It weighs only 22 kg, about half the weight of previous models. This thinner profile and lighter weight give users more setup flexibility in the living room. Furthermore, using Panasonic's wireless transmission system, users can view HD contents on the TV with no wire installation. A less-than-one-inch thin 50-inch Plasma TV A prototype of a gigantic 150-inch Plasma TV was also at display, offering a resolution of 2160 by 4096 pixels -- more than four times the 1080p HD specification. The prototype has a screen size equivalent to nine 50-inch Plasma TVs, with an effective viewing area of 11 ft (3.31 m) (W) by 6 1/4 ft (1.87 m) (H). Panasonic's new 150-inch Plasma TV Panasonic and Comcast also unveiled the first portable DVR player powered by tru2way technology. The Comcast AnyPlay Portable DVR is expected to be available in early 2009, and features a folding 8.5" LCD screen and speakers. When placed onto a companion docking station that functions as a set-top box with tru2way technology inside, the player lets viewers watch and record up to 60 hours of programs. The portable device can also handle playback of DVDs and audio CDs. Panasonic and Comcast's AnyPlay player will make its debut in early 2009

THE REBIRTH OF PLASMA

If plasmas are on their way out and LCDs are taking over, as sales figures might suggest, nobody told Pioneer. The company completely redesigned its plasma technology to produce the sharpest, most vivid picture you’ll find on any TV. The effort was code-named Project Kuro, Japanese for “black,” and that’s where this screen really sets itself apart.

The biggest challenge for any flat-panel TV technology is producing dark blacks, which create the contrast that makes other colors stand out. In LCDs, a constant backlight seeping through makes even dark pixels look gray. Plasmas have a different problem. Each tiny cell in the screen must be primed with an electric charge so it’s ready to fire up quickly, and that charge turns blacks slightly gray. Pioneer designed cells that require far less charge. Then it added a screen filter that further dampens excess light from the cells and reflects less room light. The result: Blacks are 80 percent darker than on Pioneer’s earlier models.

The TV’s new processor fixes other image problems. It effectively removes fuzzy “video noise” from the picture. And it eliminates the choppiness of DVD movies by taking 24-frames-per-second film content and generating additional frames to match the 60fps of the television.
